On December 4, 2014, 22 year old Dominique Harrison-Bentzen, a student from University of Central Lancashire, realized that she lost her bank card after a spending a night out. Fortunately a Good Samaritan was there to help her.
“I suddenly realised that I had no money and a homeless man approached me with his only change of £3.” She said. “He insisted I took it to pay for a taxi to make sure I got home safe.” She added.
She claims that she didn’t take the money but she was touched by the man’s gesture so she pledged to help him.
Dominique set up a Facebook group and a charity fundraising page for him. As of writing, she was able to raise more than £30,000.
“I hope my campaign will help people think a little more about the people around them, Christmas is a good time to think about other people. Dominique said. “If people can see what I am doing then maybe they can take the time to just stop and talk to a homeless person, hear their story.
According to reports, Robbie, who have been homeless for seven (7) months, kindness comes naturally. In fact, He has helped few pedestrian by offering a scarf and returning their wallets.
